Presents WAN technologies and network services required by converged applications in enterprise networks. Lectures and labs cover protocols, WAN security, Voice Over IP, principles of traffic, access control, and addressing services. Introduces LAN/WAN architecture, network routing protocols, IP addressing and interconnecting networks. Introduces students to cybersecurity practices and concepts with high emphases placed on hands-on practical virtual lab work. Students gain access to full software and hardware resources to more fully engage in discovery. This curriculum maps to NSA/NICE standards and prepares students for CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst certification (CySA+). DAN135: Hip-Hop Dance

3 Credits

Develops awareness of movement in different levels and space. Focuses on rhythm, syncopation and stage presence. Derived from a combination of jazz funk and street jazz, this style of dance requires high energy, attention to detail and an understanding of complex rhythms. Students will develop an appreciation and understanding of the art of hip-hop dance through physical exercise, floor work, partnering, and floor movement to better understand the technique of hip-hop. Using movement improvisation and choreographed work, and researching its origins, students will understand the history, use of, and terms of hip-hop dance.
