Opposing Viewpoints in Context:

  • Explores social issues and controversial topics.
  • Provides access to: Book series; Articles from newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals; Reference resources, statistics, primary documents, and websites.

Step 1: Start search by typing your search term(s) in the Search box.

Step 2: Need ideas for a topic? Try “Browse Issues”.

Step 3: Select from the filter options on a topic page to narrow down your search results.

A few tips:

  • Many of the Viewpoint/Featured Viewpoint articles will provide information about the author’s expertise and perspective.
  • Some Viewpoint/Featured Viewpoint articles will include questions for you to think about while reading.
