Employer VISIONS Vacation Camp for the Blind
Location New York, NY
Hours Full summer commitment is 4 weeks (Wed, July 28, 2015 - Saturday, August 29, 2015. Includes 3 days off between session 3 and session 4 8/11 to 8/13 ALL POSITIONS INCLUDE TRANSPORTATION (oer trip) 3 MEALS A DAY, & ROOM AND BOARD
Rate / Salary Salaries vary depending on position, experience and length of stay. Room and Board included along with 3 meals a day.

VISIONS Center on Blindness (VCB) is a residential rehabilitation and training center for people of all ages who are blilnd or visually impaired located in Spring Valley, NY (1 hr away from NYC). The Center serves 600 blind people each year, including a diverse population of adults, elders, teens and families with blind children. VCB offers a stimulating outdoor residential work experience that provides ideal training for careers in social work, special education, rehabilitation, therapeutic recreation. Occupational therapy, physical therapy and other health and human service fields. VISIONS Staff are available to work with students and faculty to arrange internships and cooperative education opportunities.
