Victorian Jewelry - In Photographs and in Life
The Victorian period (1837-1901), named after Queen Victoria, is one of the longest lasting and most influential periods for jewelry and fashion design. Former GCC staff member, John Potera, has been collecting Victorian jewelry and photographs for years. His new exhibit features an interesting combination of a side-by-side display of jewelry and photographs of women wearing similar jewelry. Stop by the library to see this historic fashion exhibit in the Library Media Room on display through the summer.
