Mini Summit at the Library
May 24, 2018
Library staff members participated in this year's GCC Mini Summit event, which focused on diversity. The session description was, "Say "good morning" in Italian. Find a recipe for Turkish bagel (simit). Read about how to observe the summer solstice. Whether it's food, culture, gender studies or any of the myriad ways we encounter the diversity of the human experience, come to the library and discover something new. A variety of stations will be set up around the library with hands-on activities. We hope you will join us as we explore the world - together!"
