NextGen Accuplacer Math Prep

This guide offers links for each listed topic in preparation for the NextGen Accuplacer Math Exam. Tutoring and Academic Support suggests you work through the entire unit available in Kahn Academy. However, many of the smaller topics covered by the exam are listed individually.

Kahn Academy works through a pedagogy called “mastery learning”, where it will let you advance as you master each topic. The NextGen Accuplacer works similarly – as you work through the exam it will ask increasingly difficult questions. The more prep you have done, the further you will get through the exam.

You can begin each topic by taking the Unit Test or Course Challenge. The results of this test will help you identify which areas you should study. We suggest you create an account within Khan Academy to track your progress.
