- Gabe Simon
Eighteen years after “Jurassic Park” captured his imagination, Gabe Simon ('09) finds filmmaking to be the only way he wants to spend his spare time. Now 26, Simon drew heavily upon skills he developed in Film Club at GCC to win several awards in The 48 Hour Film Project in Buffalo in August 2014, for his short film “Silenced.”
- John Scanlan
From the Village of LeRoy to Florida’s Treasure Coast, John Scanlan may now live far from his childhood home, but the lessons he learned in Western New York and at Genesee Community College are still with him.
