LEAN Yellow Belt Training

During this interactive 3-day program led by CQAS instructors, participants will work in teams on specific process improvement problems using the first four phases of the DMAIC process (Define, Measure, Analyze and Improve).  The program outcome will be a set of recommendations from each team on steps toward an improvement strategy for consideration by management.

Yellow Belt Program Topics Include:

  • LEAN Six Sigma Enterprise Approach to Improvement
  • Problems Solving Process/Tools
  • 5S and Visual Controls
  • VSM (Value Stream Mapping) - Current State
  • Team Building and Leadership
  • Change

Agenda:

  • Day 1 will focus on an introducation to Lean Six Sigma and key Define stage tools.
  • Day 2 will complete the Define stage and then focus on Measure and Analyze tools.
  • Day 3 will center on Improve and Control tools and conclude with team presentations of projects which will include recommendations for future actions.
