Fall 2017: Last 12 Weeks
|July 28||Fall 2017 Tuition Due Date|
Tuition for the Fall 2017 semester is DUE no later than Friday, July 28, 2017. Payment is due upon registration after July 28th.
|August 25||Fall 2017 Residency Forms Due|
Failure to submit a Residency Application and/or Certificate to the Student Accounts Office by August 25th will result in having your tuition charges “doubled.” ALL students MUST submit a Residency Application/Certificate each year. |September 11||Fall 2017 Fin Aid Bookstore Charges – Last 12 Week Session|
You may begin using your excess Fall 2017 Financial Aid to purchase books beginning Monday, September 11, 2017. Your aid must be on your account to do so. The last day to purchase books using your aid is Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
|September 17||Fall 2017 Last day to drop for 100% Refund – Last 12 Week Session|
Classes begin Monday, September 18, 2017. You will receive a 100% tuition refund for dropping from the Fall 2017 Last 12 Week Session PRIOR to Monday, September 18th.
Students that drop ON or AFTER Monday, September 18th, will be charged in accordance with the SUNY Tuition Refund Policy.
|September 18||Last 12 Weeks - Begins|
All Last 12 Weeks sections begin on this day.
|September 18||Fall 2017 60% Tuition Refund – Last 12 Week Session|
You will receive a 60% tuition refund (40% charge) for dropping beginning Monday, September 18th through Sunday, September 24th.
The last day for ANY tuition refund for the Last 12 Week session is October 1st.
|September 19||Fall 2017 Last Day for Bookstore Vouchers – Last 12 Week Session|
This is the last day you may use your excess Fall 2017 Financial Aid to purchase textbooks.
|September 20||Last 12 Weeks - Last day to add without signatures|
This is the last day students can add a Last 12 Weeks section without the instructors approval.
|September 25||Fall 2017 30% Tuition Refund – Last 12 Week Session|
You will receive a 30% tuition refund (70% charge) for dropping beginning Monday, September 25th through Sunday, October 1st.
There is NO tuition refund for the Fall 2017 Last 12 Week Session for withdrawing AFTER October 1st.
|October 01||Last 12 Weeks - Census - last day to add or drop|
This is the last day a student can drop a Last 12 Weeks section and not receive a grade.
|October 02||2018 Spring Registration*|
Students who have earned at least 1 credit hour at Genesee Community College are eligible to register for Spring courses beginning on this date.
|October 02||Last 12 Weeks - Withdrawal period begins|
Student withdrawing from a Last 12 Weeks class beginning on this date will receive a grade of "W" on their transcript for the course.
|October 09||2018 Spring Registration|
Spring registration is open to all students.
|October 17||Fall 2017 Last Day to Obtain a Residency Certificate – Last 12 Week Session|
Counties are only required to issue residency certificates for the first 30 days of a semester. Tuesday, October 17th is the last day your County is required to issue a certificate for the Last 12 Week session.
|November 03||Last 12 Weeks - Withdrawal period ends|
This is the last day for Students withdrawing from a Last 12 Weeks class to receive a grade of "W" on their transcript for the course. After this date they will receive a grade of "F".
|November 04||Last 12 Weeks - Grade of "F" begins|
Student withdrawing from a Last 12 Weeks class beginning on this date will receive a grade of "F" on their transcript for the course.
|November 10||Spring and Summer 2017 IP Deadline|
All instructors must submit a Grade Change Form by this date for students who were issued a grade of "IP" in the last Spring and Summer Semester.
|December 08||Last Day of Classes (for Full Semester & Last 8/12-Week Session)|
|December 11||Finals begin|
This is the first day of Final Exams.
|December 13||Finals end|
This is the last day of Final Exams.
|December 15||Fall web grading ends - grades must be entered by 12:00 pm|
Faculty must have grades submitted on the web by 12:00pm on this day.
|April 13||Fall 2017 IP Deadline|
All instructors must submit a Grade Change Form by this date for students who were issued a grade of "IP" in the last Fall Semester.
