Stagecraft
Familiarizes students with the techniques and materials of theater set construction. Explores the responsibilities of technical personnel, safety practices and the organization of a backstage run crew. Introduces CAD drawing within a theater context. Corequisite: THE 116.

1. Describe the roles and responsibilities of theatre personnel within a production environment.
2. Compose an accurate series of computer-aided drafting drawings common to production environments (basic flat, platform, window, door unit).
3. Interpret a theatrical performance for technical content.
4. Identify and describe the technical requirements in a theatrical script.
