Lab for RCP101
RCPLB1 is the application of didactic instruction for RCP101 and a required co-requisite. Skills and performance in RCPLB1 are assessed as a component of RCP101 and therefore must be successfully completed in addition to all the requirements for RCP101. Corequisite: RCP101. Prerequisite or corequisite: BIO152 with a grade of ‘C’ or higher.

Course Learning Outcomes:
1. Perform proper hand hygiene technique.
2. Perform various vital sign assessments on patients. (HR, RR, BP, BS, etc.)
3. Select the appropriate oxygen device after performing assessment of vital signs.
4. Administer oxygen therapy to various patients.
5. Execute use of oxygen tanks following safety guidelines from the DOT
