Computer Assisted Drafting 2
Uses an industrial/engineering level CAD software to generate 2-D drawings. Performs advanced techniques of the software on different drawings. Focuses on CAD software capabilities and graphic problem solving techniques. Requires drawings using various input devices and produce hard copy drawings. Two class hours, two lab hours. Spring only. Prerequisite: EGR118.

Course Learning Outcomes:
1. Create advanced Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) mechanical drawings for parts production
2. Compare methods for visualization of and object drawing (multiviews, secondary views)
3. Differentiate various styles of text applications using CAD software
4. Develop automatic editing procedure techniques
5. Incorporate advanced dimensioning techniques for architectural drawings
6. Use CAD software to analyze drawing properties
7. Develop techniques that use software to solve graphic problems
