PE Competitive Fundamentals Courses:
ATH207 - Competitive Men’s Soccer Fundamentals III
Catalog Description: Focuses on leadership skills for a second-year player in men’s soccer. Provides students with the opportunity to analyze athletic and academic progress and plan for career transfer. One and one-half class hours. Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor.
Lecture: 1.5 hrs.
Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs):
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Develop and implement a mentorship plan with a first year teammate.
2. Complete a player profile.*
3. Complete a final exam demonstrating knowledge of the strategies of competitive men's soccer.
* This course objective has been identified as a student learning outcome that must be formally assessed as part of the Comprehensive Assessment Plan of the college. All faculty teaching this course must collect the required data and submit the required analysis and documentation at the conclusion of the semester to the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment.
