Cannabis Law

Ms. Bryson holds a Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. She was employed at Texaco Inc. in Los Angeles as a Contracts Specialist attorney in the Western Exploration Division. She later worked for a law firm specializing in land use and business law. Prior to law school Ms. Bryson taught English and Reading for Rochester City Schools.

After moving back from the west coast, Ms. Bryson began teaching for Genesee Community College in 2006, focusing on Business Law and courses in the American Bar Association Approved Paralegal Studies program. She became Director of that program in 2017 and continues in that role. Her mission has been to innovate the program with the introduction of HyFlex and Legal Technology classes.In 2023 Ms. Bryson was awarded the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Faculty Service primarily due to serving as the Genesee Education Association union president for the past 5 years.

CEO and Founder of CannaCall Solutions; a cannabis consulting agency that specializes in cannabis education. Sidney is one of the first individuals in New York State to receive a cannabis degree from a state funded University. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture Business Management, an Associate’s degree in Greenhouse Production and received a Cannabis Industry Studies Minor degree in 2021.
