Focuses on advanced swimming skill and stroke development for the experienced swimmer. Includes personal safety and rescue skills. One and one-half class hours. Prerequisite: PED105.

Course Learning Outcomes:
1. Perform Bilateral Breathing while swimming Freestyle.
2. Demonstrate the 4-step progression for learning to dive from the deck.
3. Perform the various swim strokes using proper technique. (Freestyle, Backstroke, Elementary Backstroke and Sidestroke).
4. Analyze the benefits of daily fitness activity specific to the sport of swimming.
