Entrepreneurship
Capstone course studies the critical process of developing a bona fide business feasibility plan. Topics include: concept development, management, legal, regulation, marketing research and penetration, pricing, and financial perspectives. Prerequisite: 12 credits in BUS***, ACC***, FBM***, OFT***, THM***, PED258 and PED277 or with instructor permission.

1. Explain key components of venture creation such as opportunity recognition, market research and penetration, pricing, operations, or legal constraints.
2. Assess the viability of a business opportunity.
3. Develop a marketing plan for a business opportunity.
4. Conduct a strategic analysis of an industry.
5. Create a financial plan for a new business startup.
6. Develop an organizational plan for a new business startup.
7. Discuss small business problems experienced in a global, multicultural, ethical or legal environment.
8. Present a comprehensive overview of a startup business plan.
