Art and Rehearsal Studios

The art and rehearsal studios are located on the second floor of the E building (Genesee Center for the Arts).

GCC’s Center for the Arts features well-equipped art studios (Rooms E217 and E218) for drawing, painting and craft fundamentals. Two separate rooms, each basking in natural light, offer a spacious work area with a full array of creative tools, including potter's wheels, a kiln, easels, desks and tables, a jewelry making area, and extensive space to encourage and enhance creativity.

The Music Studio (E215) is a spacious area offering a special performance or practice facility that is acoustically designed for quality sound. There are several Macintosh computers with software for composing music, and a full arrangement of media support including an audio sound system and digital recording equipment.

The Dance / Rehearsal Studio is another impressive space featuring a special waxed floor, full length mirrors with ballet bars, and a warm ambience provided by extensive windows and natural light.
