CAP provides academic support for students of all abilities, in all programs, including professional and peer tutoring, writing and math labs, testing services, an assisted learning center, services for the learning disabled, and an extensive collection of computer software and other curriculum support materials. Student Support Services is a federally funded program established to help students reach graduation and/or transfer to a four year institute. The program is limited to 250 students who meet eligibility criteria and provides students with additional advising, counseling, tutoring, and educational resources.

This a grant funded program designed to assist students who are the first in their families to attend college (as well as other individuals interested in attending college), and who are require assistance and information. The center has satellite offices in Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, Wyoming, Cattaraugus, and Allegany Counties.
