E-book Updates
Netlibrary e-books have a new look! The company was recently bought by Ebscohost, and the name has changed to Ebscohost eBook Collection. What this means for you is that the e-books in this collection are now easier to search, view, and download.
Like our other Ebsco databases, if you are accessing the content from a non-networked pc or laptop (i.e. your personal laptop or pc, or a public computer at a local library), you will need to login with your GCC network username and password. Once your into the eBook collection, you can browse and view ebooks online. If you would like to download, or "checkout" an ebook, you'll need to create a personal account with Ebscohost. You'll be prompted to do this at the download screen. To view the downloaded book on your pc, laptop, or mobile device, you'll also need to download Adobe software, the link to which is available on the eBook Collection website.
