Library Instruction & Information Literacy
The Alfred C. O'Connell Library provides a comprehensive and diverse program of bibliographic instruction and information literacy training for the college community. Instruction is primarily designed for GCC students, but training sessions and workshops are also provided for faculty and staff throughout the year.

Instruction is provided both at the Batavia campus, and at off-campus Centers.

English classes ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 105, ENG 106 regularly receive one full class period of instruction per semester. Classes in other subject areas (Sociology, Business, Retailing, Criminal Justice, Allied Health professions, Human Services, etc.) also regularly include one class period of instruction per semester.
