Physical Education Studies
Being a Physical Education major provides you the opportunity to teach and influence others on how to improve one's quality of life through physical activity. Share your enthusiasm for health, fitness, and sport with others. The program provides a strong liberal arts and science foundation and an introduction to PE theory. You can then transfer and complete a bachelor's degree in the PE area of your choice. Transfer opportunities exist locally at SUNY Brockport, SUNY Cortland, and Canisius College. While at Genesee Community College, you will also have the opportunity to earn coaching certification.
