Career Opportunities

Upon successful completion of the required thirty credits, students will earn a Gerontology Certificate. Participants will be qualified to work with older adults in a variety of entry-level positions within agencies serving our aging population. Some titles and positions include:

• Nursing home activities aide
• Nursing home social worker aide
• Recreational aide
• Mental health aide
• Office for the Aging aide
• Adult home care aide
