Travel Club
Each year the GCC Travel Club researches destinations and raises funds to pay for an annual trip. Travel Club is open to all students and provides real-life travel experience to those hoping to work in the Tourism and Hospitality industries along with an opportunity for students to learn about other cultures.
2009 Las Vegas Trip
Once again, the Travel & Tourism Club chose Las Vegas as the destination for their 2009 trip. The city offers a variety of activities and a great deal of learning opportunities within a relatively small area. The group took in shows like the Blue Man Group and Cirque d’ Soleil’s Mystere and toured many of the hotels along the famous Las Vegas Boulevard and Fremont Street. Club members enjoyed the warm weather and unique attractions that make Las Vegas one-of-a-kind.

2008 Las Vegas Trip
Travel Club chose Las Vegas, Nevada for their spring trip in 2008. Thirty students and their faculty advisor spent four days exploring "The City That Never Sleeps". The group members experienced Broadway-style shows, unique dining, wonderful sightseeing along Las Vegas Boulevard, Fremont Street and the surrounding area and one-of-a-kind hotels and attractions.

2007 Quebec Trip
The spring 2007 trip to Quebec City, Quebec included accommodations at the Loews Hotel Le Concorde, first class dining, limousine transportation and a visit to the Ice Hotel Canada, as well as site-seeing at famous places like the Le Chateau Frontenac, a United Nations World Heritage site located along the St. Lawrence River within the walled fortress.

2006 Toronto Trip
The spring 2006 trip to Toronto included accommodations at the Delta Chelsea, dinner at the Brownstone Bistro, limousine transportation, shopping at the Eaton Centre, tickets to see the Blue Man Group at Panasonic Theatre as well as site-seeing at famous places like the CN Tower. Travel Club is open to all students and provides real-life travel experience to those hoping to work in the Tourism and Hospitality industries.
