GCC's 40th Birthday Party

Volunteers from the Tourism & Hospitality Management program hosted a celebration in honor of the 40th Anniversary of Genesee Community College. The event featured a birthday music, historical displays from college archives, displays from many of the degree programs on the evolution of their program and a 6 ft. X 4ft. birthday "cake" made from hundreds of cupcakes. The event offered students an opportunity to apply the event planning skills that they acquired in the classroom and show off their hospitality skills to the college community.

Experience Genesee

The GCC Tourism & Hospitality Management students hosted a workshop for Experience Genesee participants called "Travel: The Road to the Future". The presentation included information on the most unique destination on the planet, as well as in space.
