PLEASE NOTE:
The college is in the process of examining the future direction of the multimedia program and has suspended new applications while the process is being completed.

The widespread growth of media resources in nearly every discipline means that multimedia experts could find themselves in demand by virtually any organization that uses computer technology to communicate.

Genesee's Multimedia program is designed for students interested in working in the multimedia communications and telecommunications industries. You'll explore media in telecommunications, journalism and education to effectively express all kinds of creative messages from commercial advertising to the creative arts.

After you complete your degree, you can enter the workforce or transfer to an upper-division college or university and earn a baccalaureate degree. Students who embark on a career immediately after graduation find entry-level positions in a range of fields: radio and television broadcasting, cable television systems, corporate video and other organizations that use electronic media (like television or computers) for educational, communication, or artistic purposes.
