“WOW!”
“WOW”, or “Week of Welcome” at Genesee Community College, is a designated week that follows shortly after classes begin. The week is a co-sponsored effort between Student Activities, various academic departments, College Village, and area community service agencies to “kick-off’ the semester and welcome both new and returning students to GCC.
“WOW” hosts a variety of events and programs in which students can participate during the week, as a way of meeting new people, reconnecting with old friends and acquaintances, learning important information, and just having FUN! Be sure to attend as many of the events as you can during the week, and get just a taste of what GCC has to offer!
