The faculty and staff of Genesee Community College are committed to recognizing
and encouraging academic excellence at Genesee by attracting outstanding local
students who exhibit exceptional talent and leadership potential. The President’s
Scholarship provides full tuition at Genesee after all other financial assistance
with a minimum award of $1,000. The scholarship is open to high school students
from Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, and Orleans counties.

Foundation, the College offers various scholarships that promote study in fields,
critical to the well-being of our communities, as well as many need and merit
based scholarships.

The Genesee Community College Foundation, College Village Citizenship Scholarship
is designed to attract exemplary students to the residence life facility. The scholarship is open to older students who wish to live
in high-quality student housing while studying at Genesee. Students must be
nominated for this scholarship.

The Challenge Scholarship was designed to address exceptional financial hardship
faced by new and continuing Genesee students. Funding for this scholarship is
provided by the Genesee Community College Foundation and U.S. Department of
Education Title III Endowment Challenge Program. Students must be nominated
for this scholarship.

Children and parents of Genesee Community College graduates are eligible
to apply for an award of up to $500 per year. Students must be enrolled in
health related course of study and exhibit academic excellence.
