Is it too late to register for classes?

Why didn't I get a grade for one of my classes when I did
receive grades for other classes I also took?
Most likely, the class you did not receive a grade for is
a full year course. You will receive your final grade from GCC at the end of
the year (early July).
Can I get a refund if I withdraw?
You can only get a refund up to the registration deadline.

How do I get a transcript sent?
You can call or stop by the Records Office, or the ACE Office
at GCC and request a Transcript Request Form that must be filled out and returned
to Records along with $5.00 per copy that is to be sent. You can also download
and print a Transcript Request Form from this website
and mail to the Records Office. Your signature is required.
Where do I send my payment?
Make check payable to Genesee Community College and drop off
or mail to the Business Office
What is the grading scale at GCC?
Generally, 90-100=A, 80-89=B, 70-79=C, 65-69=D, <65=F.
High school instructors set their own criteria for the grades.
Can I send a partial payment?
Yes, you may register by paying 50% of the total cost upfront but a hold will be placed on your account until full payment is received (see dates and deadlines). You will not receive grades or be able to order a transcript until the hold is released by our Business Office.
Will the credits I earn at GCC through ACE Programs or College
Today transfer to my college of choice?
GCC ACE credits are accepted at most other colleges and universities
in New York State and throughout the country. However, there are a few schools
that do not accept college credits earned while in high school. Please refer
to our Transferring Credits page to see
a list of schools that have shown a general willingness to accept GCC ACE credits.

When are grades released?
Fall grades are due back from the instructors on January 30.
Spring and full-year grades are due back June 30. Grade reports will be sent
to students shortly after due dates.
Am I automatically enrolled for college credit through my
high school?
NO! Enrollment in a high school class does not indicate that
a student is registered for college credit. To register with GCC, a student must
complete the necessary registration forms and pay
the appropriate tuition fee. Signatures of the student AND a parent/guardian
are required.
