Student Activities

College isn't just about classrooms and books and libraries. It's also about making new friends...joining clubs and participating in activities...taking chances on new experiences...and having fun. At Genesee, more than a thousand students every year participate in activities sponsored by student clubs, intercollegiate athletic teams, our Student Government and our Student Activities Council.

And there's more: concerts throughout the year, comedy showcases, blockbuster movies, performing arts, travel excursions, and leadership training programs. Lunchtime Live hosts professional comedians, musicians, magicians, hypnotists, or novelty groups twice monthly during the academic year.

Our Student Activities Council sponsors many social events such as Up All Night, dances, festivals, and a spring break trip to a warm climate. The Student Government hosts a Student Development Series which provides opportunities to experience interactive and group learning activities...while enhancing interpersonal and team building skills. We believe that co-curricular learning ensures student success...we encourage you to explore these unique possibilities and ultimately find success.
