Center for the Arts
The focal point of Genesee's Center for the Arts is the Stuart Steiner Theatre - a 328 seat theatre and performing arts stage. It boasts of Broadway -quality light, sound, stage and mechanical systems. The Theater is also equipped with a box office, rehearsal studio, dressing rooms, scene shop, and costume shop.
The Center accommodates dramatic productions, concerts, literary, readings, dances, lectures and exhibits. Many performances are hosted by the Forum Players, the College's drama society, as well as internationally-known productions.
Genesee's Center for the Arts houses the Digital Art, Drafting and Theatre Arts programs. The Center also contains art and ceramic studios, a music library, drafting and commercial art classrooms. The Drafting and Commercial Art studios have supporting computer laboratories.
The College offers a wide variety of degree and non-degree programs in the Fine Arts. Coursework is also offered in art, studio art, painting, photography, speech, music and technical theatre.
