Challenges and roadblocks for start-ups and new business owners exist at many levels. Personal skills and personality as well as business plan quality, knowledge of customers, competition, financing, recordkeeping and legal requirements all combine to determine the ultimate success of any business. Experienced advisors will help you determine and reach your business potential drawing from lessons learned by other successful owners and discussion of current small business best practices.
NOTE: The Batavia workshop will be held at the RICHMOND MEMORIAL LIBRARY located at 19 Ross Street, Batavia.

You may receive up to a four-point reduction on your driving record and a minimum 10% reduction in the base rate of your automobile and motorcycle liability and collision insurance premiums each year for three years. Points remain on your record but are not counted in determining administrative actions.
Point reduction does not affect mandatory actions such as a license revocation for three speeding convictions within 18 months or existing suspensions or revocations. To receive lower insurance rates, you must be listed as the principal operator of a vehicle. The National Safety Council is the sponsoring agency for this course.

Everyone who plans to sign up for a New York State driver's road test must complete this course. It will include defensive driving techniques, safety belt requirements, and new laws affecting drivers who drink. Students will receive the MV278 certificate upon completion.
