Internships / Cooperative Education
Internships and Cooperative Education are designed to provide students with the necessary support and resources to identify and arrange for practical work experience related to the student’s major and career goals.
The coordination, placement, and academic requirement of each cooperative education/internship placement is the responsibility of the career program faculty member and student. These positions may either be paid or non-paid depending on the nature of the request, position, availability, scope of the position, and type of institution at which the student will be employed.
The Career Services Center works along with the student and faculty to support the identification of possible employment sites. Visit the Career Services Center to become familiar with a listing of possible employers. One example of a cooperative education experience is with the Disney to College Program.
