What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows websites to publish updates to news and information in and easy and timely manner. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS feed. Once you subscribe to an RSS feed, whenever the site you are subscribed to changes, it will publish the changes to your reader. Readers are found on popular sites like MyYahoo or IGoogle.
Getting started
Anywhere you see an RSS image (

), that image is a link to an RSS feed that you can add to your reader. To view one of the Genesee feeds in your RSS reader:
- Copy the URL/shortcut that corresponds to the topic that interests you.
- Paste the URL into your reader.
