Genesee Promise Plus
As Genesee Promise Plus (GPP) celebrates its sixth year, new opportunities are available, including a special summer scholarship program just for adult students who have never attended college before. Following the philosophy introduced by GCC's Board of Trustees in 2008, Genesee Promise aims to remove any financial barriers to higher education for the citizens in Genesee, Livingston, Orleans and Wyoming counties.
This year, Genesee Community College offers three distinct divisions of Genesee Promise Plus, all featuring excellent scholarship opportunities for students to take classes at GCC this summer. The GPP now offers Junior (or rising Seniors), Seniors (soon-to-be graduates), or any new adult college student the opportunity to enroll in one or two summer 2013 courses at GCC.
