About Genesee Accounts

Depending on your role at Genesee Community College, you will have different accounts to access electronic information.

Students

Students get accounts to access Genesis, the network and email. While the username is the same on these accounts, they are three separate accounts with independent passwords.

Faculty

Faculty get accounts to access Genesis and network/email; they are two separate accounts. These usernames are generally not the same.

Staff

Staff in offices also have accounts to access Genesis and network/email, and also may have a separate account to access Banner.
