Training Funds Available For Employers

WIRED (Workforce Innovation and Regional Economic Development):  Through the WIRED Initiative, our Finger Lakes Partnership is committed to providing training funds that will help businesses maintain their competitive edge and grow through improving the skills of their workforce.

DOL – STEP 07 (Department of Labor Skills Training and Education program):  STEP will provide funds to businesses to train incumbent workers in specific occupational skills needed by that business or industry that lead to career growth up a defined career ladder and to increased wages.

DOL – Building Skills in New York State (BUSNYS): This grant will provide training to qualified employers to upgrade the skills of their employees.
