Media Services

Media Services provides a full range of non-print materials and equipment for support and enrichment of College programs. Instructional materials are accessed or produced by Media Services staff, who also consult and assist faculty in the integration of media materials into educational programs, courses and projects. Students have access to media services for course related projects.

Production services include classroom visual materials, video and audio production, DVD and CD-ROM production, media format conversion, full instructional television production and editing, and satellite downlink services. Genesee offers credit courses regionally on an educational access channel, by agreement with Time-Warner Cable.

Genesee provides interactive video classrooms for point-to-point videoconferencing and instruction among Genesee's campus centers or with other colleges, high schools and business locations, regionally and worldwide.

Media Services is located on the first floor of the Conable Technology Building at Genesee's main campus in Batavia. Facilities include a television studio, control room, graphics/animation computer lab, video and audio editing rooms, master control, equipment distribution and service areas, and staff offices.
