Alumni Hall of Fame Induction 2012
One of the co-founders of the Genesee Community College Foundation, an orthopedic nurse, and a hospital vice president make up the 2012 class of inductees into GCC’s Alumni Hall of Fame. A reception lauding the new class - John DeWitt, Cynthia Howe and Dan Ireland - took place at May 2 in the Conable Technology Building on the Batavia Campus.
Trek the Trail 2012
It was a drizzly April day but that didn't stop 150 "trekkers" from hitting the trail on April 21 to help support GCC student scholarships!
Trek the Trail 2011
May 7 2011 marked the first-ever GCC Alumni Trek the Trail - an exciting opportunity for community members, alumni and/or current students to take a two-mile trek around the Batavia campus while raising funds for future students and programs.
Alumni Soccer Game: 2009
On Saturday, October 24, 2009, a hearty group of Genesee Soccer Alumni from 1988 to 2007 took to the windy field and played the first Alumni Soccer Game—odd years completing again even years for an invigorating score of 5-3. 17 Genesee soccer alumni as well as few additional players collectively kicked-off the first-ever Alumni Soccer game.
