Employer Services

The Career and Transfer Center is available to assist employers with their hiring needs. We're always glad to work with employers looking to recruit workers. We are proud to offer the services listed below free of charge:

Cooperative Education

The Cooperative Education program helps arrange practical work experiences related to students' majors and career goals. The program allows employers to free higher salary workers from tedious or routine tasks, create new temporary positions, and obtain extra workers to meet project-driven or cyclic goals.

Credential Files

Upon their request, the Career and Transfer Center maintains credential files for students and graduates. The files contain recommendations from instructors, employers or past supervisors, plus documents relating to skills and abilities. We gladly will share the contents of a credential file with the subject's consent.

Job Listings

We are pleased to offer a job listing service to employers seeking to fill full- and part-time, summer or Cooperative Education positions. To include a job in our listing service, Job Bulletin, contact our office by phone, e-mail, mail, or fax, or you may submit electronically through this site.

On-Campus Recruiting

Employers are welcome to visit campus to interview students and graduates for positions within their organization. Our office maintains the schedule and is responsible for all the publicity for the visit. The Career & Transfer Center also sponsors a Job Fair during the spring semester which provides the opportunity to meet with students, graduates, and community members to discuss your employment needs.
