GED is offered in cooperation with the Genesee Valley Educational Partnership. GED preparation classes are held at the College’s Batavia campus. When students are sufficiently prepared, the instructor will offer them a GED Practice Test. A minimum passing score is required for eligibility to apply for and challenge the NYS GED exam. Exam sites are at both the Genesee Valley Educational Partnership’s Batavia and Mt. Morris campuses. Visit www.nysed.gov for complete regulations and exam testing information.
Steps to obtain your GED:
- Call BOCES at 585-344-7738 to schedule a time to take the TABE test. Once you have taken this test, you can start attending our classes!
- The GED class is free and the classes are held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 1pm – 4pm in Room B252.
- You take the class just long enough to be able to pass the test. The test is given at BOCES – on State Street here in Batavia.
