    Women's Volleyball: Fall 2012

    Program Overview

    The Genesee Community College women's volleyball program maintains a strong winning tradition. The Lady Cougars compete at the NJCAA Division II level and are a part of the Western New York Athletic Conference and Region III. The team is made up of bright young women from as nearby as Genesee’s hometown, Batavia, and hail from as far as Virginia, Canada, and the Bahamas. Each of the Lady Cougars comes from strong athletic backgrounds, with many of the girls having numerous years of club volleyball experience. Players graduating from Genesee have continued both their education and volleyball careers at schools such as University of Buffalo, Saint Francis, and Youngstown State. 

    The Lady Cougars qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament for the second straight year in 2011, finishing the season with an overall record of 22-21.
