Head Coach: Roger Majeski

Coach Roger Majeski attended State University of New York, College at Brockport where he was a student assistant coach for three years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 1986. After assistant coaching for a year, Roger Majeski became Genesee’s head women’s volleyball coach in 1987. In his past twenty years as head coach, Coach Majeski has had eleven appearances at the national tournament, been awarded Region III Coach of the Year nine times, AVCA Northeast/Southeast Region Coach of the Year three times, District Coach of the Year eleven times, coached fourteen All-American athletes, and has lead his teams to over 750 career wins. In addition to coaching here at Genesee, Coach Majeski continues to be active in the volleyball community by playing and officiating. Coach Majeski is a member of the board of directors for Western Empire Volleyball Association. He has also participated in the Empire State Games, coaching women’s teams, and winning a total of seven gold medals with his men’s Master’s teams. Coach Majeski has also been coordinating the New York Outdoor Volleyball Association for twenty years. He hopes to continue his winning tradition here at Genesee.
