    Men's Baseball: Spring 2013

    Program Overview

    The Genesee Community College men's baseball team competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association Region III, Division II level and is a member of the Western New York Athletic Conference. The team plays over 20 games in the fall, including its conference schedule and tournament at the end. In the spring, the team has the most difficult schedule among any of the other Division II programs in Region III. Skip Sherman is starting his sixth year as head coach. He is responsible for the team's only conference championship (2005), as well as its highest ranking ever in school history in 2007 (11th in the nation). He was awarded the Region III Coach of the Year for 2007 and was recognized in January 2008 at the American Baseball Coaches Association as Region III National Coach of the Year.
