    Kocent earns All-Region Honors

    Genesee Community College golfer Corey Kocent (Batavia, NY) earned a spot on the NJCAA Region III All-Region Team for the 2012 season.

    Kocent finished second in the Region III Tournament, shooting a two-day total of 149 at the Cortland Country Club earlier this week.

    With his second place finish, Kocent has qualified to participate in the NJCAA National Golf Tournament which will be held June 4th through the 8th at the Chautauqua Golf Course in Chautauqua, New York. Kocent with be the lone Cougar to participate in the tournament this year.
