Genesee's Women's Soccer team competed in the semi-finals of the National Junior Community College Tournament against Montgomery College-Rockville. Patty Capwell scored with eight minutes to go in regulation off a well placed ball by Chelsea Williams. Montgomery then fought back to tie the game with only one minute and fifteen seconds remaining. The game then went in to overtime, where both teams remained scoreless. The first round of the Women’s NJCAA Tournament was decided by penalty kicks; with Montgomery taking the win.

Genesee competes for 3rd place tomorrow against Mohawk Valley Community College at 9:00am.
