Our Lady Cougars (9-8-1) played their first round of the Region III Division III Tournament this past Saturday at home. Genesee defeated Clinton CC 5-2. Clinton struck first only 7:09 into the game, then Freshman Jesse Jaszko tied it 1-1 just 5 minutes later off a through ball from Chelsea Williams. Later in the first half Kelsey Chaya scored a beautiful goal from the weak side from a switch of the field by Dzindzi Asamoah-Wade to put us up 2-1. Clinton tied the game up only 4 minutes into the 2nd half (Both of Clinton goals were scored by Emily Lashway). Chelsea Williams scored the game winning goal at 54:18 to put the lady cougars up 3-2. The GCC Women’s Soccer team then found the net 2 more times with goals scored by Williams and Fenton. Walsh and Jaszko had the assists.

Our Lady Cougars travel to Alfred State tomorrow to play at 7pm!
