The GCC men's soccer team gave the Kats of Erie CC a 1-0 lead at the half.  However once the second half got under way the Cougars attacked straight away. They tied the game early from a Dan Kociygit (Stone, England) corner than was finished by a fine header from Josh Canfield (Hornell). GCC were soon in front after Ted Johnson (Pavilion) was taken down in the box. Ger Myles (Limerick, Ireland) stepped up to give his team a 2-1 lead from the spot kick. By now the cougars were dominating the game and they got a deserved third goal as Dan Kociygit lobbed the keeper from the edge of the area from Ger Myles pass.

Genesee plays next at home this Saturday the 10th against Jamestown Community College.
