On Sunday, April 5, the Lady Cougars Softball team swept their double header against Jamestown Community College. In game one, Laura Olcott pitched a 2-hit complete game shutout with 13 strike outs as GCC won 5-0. GCC continued the momentum into the second game winning 9-3. Janni Chatt picked up her first win of the season on the mound while Brandi Froman and Laura Olcott contributed offensively as each went 3-4 at the plate. These 2 wins brings the Lady Cougars to 6-3 in the conference and 7-7 overrall. GCC next takes the field on Tuesday, April 7, as they play host to Merceyhurt NE. Gametime 3:30.
