    Athlete of the Week

    Genesee Softball Falls To Northampton C.C.

    The Genesee Women's Softball team played their first game of the season today against Northampton C.C. in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The lady cougars started the game strong and played very well holding the game scoreless until the 6th inning when Northampton went on a 14 – 0 rally. Genesee was led by sophomores Brandi Froman (Albion, NY) and Lisa Vogt (Pavilion, NY). Froman went 2 for 3 at the plate as Vogt was 1 for 2 with 1 run scored.

    The team plays two games tomorrow against Alfred State and Mercer County Community College.
