Student-Athletes Receive NJCAA Region III Academic Honors
Seven Genesee student-athletes were recognized for their achievements in the classroom. In order to be nominated for this award, student-athletes must have completed 46 semester hours and hold a minimum of a 3.50 grade point average.
The following student-athletes earned academic honors: Marie Bowen (Women's Swimming and Diving; Middleport, NY), Felix Hernandez (Baseball; Guatire, Venezuela), Genki Nakamura (Men's Swimming and Diving; Tokyo, Japan), Nate Parrino (Baseball; Brockport, NY), Chris Shingleton (Men's Swimming and Diving; Lyndonville, NY), Ashley Uberty (Volleyball & Softball; Leroy, NY), and Lisa Weninger (Volleyball; Warman, SK, Canada).
